Consolidating our reputation within the education sector, Derwent fm secured the contract for facilities management services at the University of Gloucestershire’s new Pittville campus.

In partnership with the university, Derwent Living and Bouygues UK, (Uliving), we helped to manage the refurbishment of 218 existing student bedrooms. At the same time, the university constructed 576 new units designed to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard; Derwent fm’s expertise proved integral to the design process.

Current services provided include:

• Estates and grounds maintenance
• Helpdesk, reception and site management
• Cleaning; Waste disposal and recycling
• Security
• Utility management
• IT and telecoms
• Parking and cycle storage

Accommodating first year, international and postgraduate students, the Pittville campus provides a safe, high-quality living environment. We recognise the crucial role that our services play in promoting an excellent student experience; therefore we keep our standards evolving through consulting regularly with residents, faculty and university teams. We analyse all feedback to help us continually improve and increase customer satisfaction.

In addition to the residential accommodation, Pittville benefits from a refectory, bar, gym, study spaces and offices for over 150 members of university administration staff.
