Reporting to the Scheme Manager, this is a fast-paced role to carry out planned and reactive maintenance and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will assist with engineering activities, planned and reactive maintenance and support the full team. This role is very ‘hands on' with a clear focus on ensuring minimal inconvenience to the occupants on the site, keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront of your mind.

Based at York University, you will carry out a high-quality cleaning service. Working as part of a facilities team you will have responsibility for cleaning communal areas, and kitchen facilities.

The first point of contact for customer enquiries and providing appropriate advice and information. The role will require communicating effectively with customers whether via the telephone or email & responsible for a range of administrative tasks, supporting the Maintenance Manager.
