Wagestream is now live at Derwent fm!

We’re excited to reveal our new employee benefit, Wagestream.

Derwent fm is committed to improving employee welfare across our business. The latest edition to our employee benefits, Wagestream, supports us in moving away from the more traditional type of salary services to provide more flexibility to our people.

Why is financial wellbeing important?

Financial wellbeing can affect physical, mental and social health, which can result in poorer job performance, reduced ability to concentrate, lower productivity and absenteeism. Wagestream’s research shows that:

  • Over 50% of UK workers run out of money before payday,
  • 39% of adults don’t feel confident managing their money,
  • 50% of households don’t have £250 in savings,
  • One in two adults with debt has a mental health problem.

Wagestream will give our employees instant access to up to 40% of their pay, without needing to wait for payday! For every day and the unexpected, having instant access to the money you’ve earned gives you greater control over your finances.

“We are very excited to be working with Wagestream to provide this benefit to our people. We want to ensure we are doing what we can to support financial wellbeing within the workplace. By partnering with Wagestream, Derwent fm are showing our commitment to employee welfare and payment flexibility. Wagestream will allow our people to feel empowered with their finances. They will have full visibility of their salary, save money, stream their wages in live time, without having to wait until pay day and will have 24/7 access to a support team who can coach around financial wellbeing.”
