Title: Payroll Coordinator (part time)

With growth plans across Derwent FM the demand for our Payroll services has increased. As a result we are looking for a part time Payroll Coordinator to join our team based on 30 hours a week.
What your role will be
As one of our Payroll Coordinators you will assist with the running of the organisations payroll from start to finish. Using Cascade our payroll database you will deliver the monthly payroll for around 350 staff that work across 20 sites nationwide.
You will assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payrolls including interpreting, validating and the inputting of all documentation, processing starters and leavers, expenses, mileage and overtime payments on to the payrolls system in line with SLA’s You will provide a professional and efficient service for all and employees in line with our own policies and procedures and government legislation.

In April 2019 we are relocating our office from Harrogate to Leeds (LS15). Initially you will be based from our Harrogate office.
With experience of preparing payrolls you will be highly numerate and be able to reconcile the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations of the payroll as well as providing analysis of payroll costs. You will have experience of working in an autonomous payroll role and have transacted a pay run from start to finish.
Ideally we would like you to have experience using the Cascade payroll system however experience using HR databases or payroll software is essential. We are looking for someone who is at ease in providing guidance to internal customers to ensure they follow policies. An understanding of HMRC RTI is essential.
