In April 2017 Derwent fm commenced services carrying out a range of facilities management services for Chiltern and South Bucks District Councils.
This contract includes the following core services:
- Caretaking
- Cleaning
- Fire and Security
- Fixed electrical plant maintenance
- Lifts
- Maintenance of all HVAC equipment
- Water Management
Value: 300k per annum
DFM have also delivered a significant amount of project work for the two councils since commencing services and have worked closely on a number of key building management activities.
This contract was awarded on an initial four year period but has the option for two further extension of two years on each occasion.

Since taking over the supply of building services maintenance and cleaning services for Chiltern and South Bucks district councils from April 2017, I am pleased to say that Derwent FM have provided a professional service, enhancing the services to the councils and supporting the small FM team at both sites. As well as helping to keep the council compliant by providing a well-managed PPM regime, Derwent also assisted in the delivery of the council’s Accommodation Strategy project which involved the mass movement of staff and furniture across the 2 councils. Derwent also responded very well to a number of emergency out of hours call outs during adverse weather conditions.
